Glossier x Space NK Event DJ

I had the incredible opportunity to DJ at the launch of the Glossier x Space NK collaboration in Manchester. I'm a huge fan of both brands so I was extremely excited to get the call asking me to travel to Manchester to be their DJ for this event! Being part of this event was amazing and I’m excited to share the behind-the-scenes moments with you.

The Venue & Atmosphere

The event was held at The Edinburgh Arms Castle Pub in the heart of Manchester, which was transformed into the Space NK x Glossier Public House. The whole venue featured Glossier's iconic products. The crowd was a mix of beauty enthusiasts, influencers, and professionals from the industry.

Creating the Soundtrack

For this event, I wanted to craft a set that complemented the aesthetic of the evening. Glossier is known for its fresh, effortless beauty, so to begin my set I focused on selecting tracks that were more chilled to create the atmosphere whilst people mingled and checked out the products. My playlist for the evening featured the ultimate girly playlist with new music and plenty of nostalgic hits to sing-a-long to!

Connecting Beauty and Music

What I loved most about DJing for the Glossier x Space NK launch was how the worlds of beauty and music came together seamlessly. Just as Glossier’s ethos is about enhancing natural beauty rather than covering it up, my set was designed to enhance the energy of the night rather than take center stage. It’s all about the vibe—both in beauty and music—and finding ways for them to complement each other made the night feel so cohesive.

Memorable Moments

A highlight was seeing how much everyone enjoyed the evening. Whether they were testing out Glossier's new products or snapping photos with the perfect lighting, the music added an extra layer to the overall experience. Watching people smile, laugh, and vibe with the tracks was a reminder of why I love what I do.
